Hamilton’s Holy Grail: The Douglas-Hamilton Bloodline & Possible Graves Site.

The Damsel of The Sanct Grael. 1874. Dante Gabriel Rosetti.

The search for The Holy Grail is one of the most documented theories throughout history, regarded as the most noble of quests. Grail legend has ignited and inspired the passions of historians, filmmakers and modern conspiracy theorists alike.

So what is the Holy Grail and where is it located?

Well, for many The Grail in the traditional sense is the chalice from The Last Supper which was later used by Joseph Of Arimathea to gather the blood of Jesus at the crucifixion after the Roman Centurion called Longinus pierced his side using The Spear Of Destiny to confirm that he had already died on the cross.

The modern theory is that The Holy Grail or “Sangreal” is the bloodline of Jesus, The RH Negative Blood Group: commonly known as “Blue Blood”.

I believe that The Grail is the “Sangreal” Bloodline theory. The actual union of the Devine Feminine and Masculine of the RH Negative Bloodgroup!

The Union Of The Devine Feminine And Masculine.

It is my belief that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and after the crucifixion she escaped to France because she was carrying the unborn child of Jesus. She eventually give birth thus continuing the bloodline which down through the years intermixed with french nobility including the ancient Merovingian Kings of old and ultimately the Knights Templar accumulating vast wealth, riches and sacred knowledge along their way!

Enter Templar Knight Sir William St Clair 11th Baron Of Rosslyn and 3rd Prince of Orkney, who was of the same bloodgroup lineage! He made his way from France to Midlothian, Scotland and founded Rosslyn Chapel during 1446 to house the remains of the Templar Descendants of this blood group (which would have included Sir James Douglas “The Black Douglas” and Templar Treasures including the Holy Rood).

The remains of these Templar Knights and Treasures (Holy Rood) were housed at Rosslyn for many long years. Until the 11th December 1688 when the Crypt was raided by the Covenanters (Presbyterian Soldiers Of Christ). This fact is documented in the memoirs of Father Richard Augustine Hay of Rosslyn. It is my belief that the Covenanters scribed a map on the wall of the crypt at Rosslyn on the left side of the doorway when exiting. This was so that the enlightened St Clair family members (those of sacred gnostic knowledge) would know were The Remains of the Black Douglas and Treasures (including the Holy Rood) were being taken to be hidden again.

The Wall Map from Rosslyn Crypt that the Covenanters scribed. The long pylon like section of the map represents the Energy Channel Or Vortex emitting from the House Of Hamilton: “The Palace!”.

Close-Up Of The Top Of The Map. The Chalice!

So what does this map mean? I believe that it represents a chalice and shows the new location were the Covenanters were taking the remains of the Black Douglas and Treasures (Holy Rood) to hide. And, that it is a location in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The Covenanters seized the remains and treasure for Good Duchess Anne Hamilton, The 3rd Duchess Of Hamilton and her Husband William Douglas-Hamilton, The 3rd Duke Of Hamilton. Who were of the RH Negative Bloodline and therefore the Sangreal! The Hereditory “Keepers Of The Holy Rood”, Treasures and Sacred Knowledge. The predecessor of William St Clair was Sir Henry St Clair, 10 Baron of Rosslyn, 2nd Prince of Orkney, he had married Egida Douglas and William St Clair’s 1st Wife was Margaret “Elizabeth” Douglas both of the same Douglas lineage to Good Duchess Anne and more importantly to the 3rd Duke William Douglas-Hamilton. This is not a coincidence!

Anne Hamilton 3rd Duchess Of Hamilton & William Douglas-Hamilton 3rd Duke of Hamilton.

Also William Douglas-Hamilton 3rd Duke Of Hamilton who should really only have the surname “Douglas” ( the reason for which was because his Wife The Good Duchess petitioned King Charles Stuart II to ask for the right to award her husband title of “Duke Of Hamilton” as well as the “- Hamilton” surname) is a descendant of Sir James Douglas “The Black Douglas” who was a faithful ally to King Robert The Bruce!

The Black Douglas was an ancestor to the Douglas line which Sir Henry St Clair, 10 Baron of Rosslyn married into and to “Elizabeth” Douglas, the 1st Wife of William St Clair, 11th Baron. William St Clair’s ancestor Sir Henry St Clair 7th Baron of Rosslyn along with his two sons William and John joined forces with The Black Douglas as Allies to King Robert The Bruce at the Battle Of Bannockburn. Again this is clearly not a coincidence! So you see, the surname and bloodline “Douglas” :”The Black Douglases” is of far greater importance than the “Hamilton” name and ultimately a closer lineage to Christ! This is why it was fused in matrimony forming the new lineage ” Douglas- Hamilton”! It is this bloodline that can be traced back to Mary Queen Of Scots, The Feudal King Stuarts, Louis The 14th, The St Clairs, The Merovingian Kings Of Ancient France and ultimately the Union Of The Devine Feminine And Masculine: Mary Magdalene and Our lord Jesus Christ. This Bloodline & network of families is far greater and more complicated than the names previously listed, it is a vast dynasty!

So Where Are The Remains Of The Black Douglas And Holy Rood Located?

Perhaps We Should Follow The Path Of The Crosses!

c. 1940’s – 1960’s Ordnance Survey map Clipping showing: The Church In The Old Toll Booth Jail, The Collegiate Church, The Bishops Gateway and our Final Destination Point: The Original Location Of The Netherton Cross!

The Bishops Gateway was an ancient pathway leading to the Original Netherton Cross site and eventually all the way to the Bothwell Bridge and further yet still to St Bride’s Church, Bothwell. The Gateway and section of path leading to the Netherton Cross site no longer exists. Certain Authorities would have us believe that the Netherton Cross Site marks the location of where a church may have stood in the ancient village of Cadzow. Which also had a number of But and Ben Style (One room) dwellings and a Motte Hill with Bailey Castle!

Hamilton Historian Terence (Terry) Murphy At The Old Parish Churchyard.

It is my belief that the Netherton Cross is actually a Tombstone Monument/Grave Marker. And, that the Ancient village of Cadzow was not located at the Low Parks! But was in fact located at the High Parks around the Cadzow Oaks/Earthworks and Cadzow Castle. There is also map evidence dictating that the oldest church for Cadzow was located directly behind Cadzow Castle, older than the Collegiate Church that was next to the Hamilton Palace! Also, the Collegiate Church had Two Alters!: 1): To the Blessed Virgin Mary and 2): To the Holy Rood!

c. 1859 Survey, c. 1864 Publication Ordnance Survey Map clipping showing ancient church remains behind Cadzow Castle at the High Parks. The True first sign of Christianity in the ancient lands of Cadzow.

Back to the Low Parks and the Original Site Of The Netherton Cross. In the previous photo of an artist’s sketch showing the But and Ben Style (One Room) Dwellings, you can clearly see that this does not match up with the photo of the exposed foundations with the archeologists examining the site!

Mass Underground Burial Tomb Of Duchess Anne Hamilton’s Family?

It is my belief that this is a Mass Underground Burial Tomb for 10 of Good Duchess Anne’s children and their families. In direct alignment some yards behind it is a Single Burial Tomb for Duchess Anne. And, in direct alignment some yards in front of this Mass Burial Tomb are 2 Infant Daughters both named Anna Hamilton (One who was 2 years of age and died c.1663 and the other who died in infancy c.1669) interred in a Double Tomb (Part Of Which Could Be Under The M74 Motorway Road!). And underneath the road in the same path of alignment will be what is called an “Icehouse”. I believe that it is not an Icehouse and is in fact an Entrance to a Tunnel System which linked the Underground Burial Tombs to the Motte Hill at a 90 Degrees Angle (On The Square!). The Entrance must have been filled with concrete and rubble and is nowhere to be found (located under the road!) When work was well underway during 1967 for the M74 construction the earth movers and heavy plant machinery probably broke and ripped up the stone slabs covering the tops of the tomb walls which are evident in the photos. If these walls were foundations the stones used would be much larger! Also if the archeologists had the foresight to dig straight down they would probably have discovered the tops of coffins! Duchess Anne had 13 children to the 3rd Duke. Their oldest son James, who became 4th Duke is interred at the Bent Cemetery alongside the rest of the dukes and family members. Some of whom were previously interred at the Collegiate Church then the Mausoleum.

Hamilton Historian Terence (Terry) Murphy At The Original Site Of The Netherton Cross, Low Parks, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

c. 1967 Ordnance Survey Map Clipping. (Just look at where the construction of the road stops!)

So, the only other key feature at this site is the Motte Hill! This therefore must be the location of the remains of The Black Douglas and Templar Treasures including the Holy Rood? But where also is the 3rd Duke Of Hamilton interred? There has never been any recorded evidence stating or showing signs of a ditch at the Motte Hill Site. It has never been circumferenced by water either. So why call it a Motte? I don’t believe that it is a motte at all.

Hamilton Historian Terence (Terry) Murphy At The Original Site Of The Netherton Cross Pointing Towards The Motte Hill, Low Parks, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

I believe that the Motte Hill is actually a Burial Mound “Tumulus” and that the 3rd Duke Of Hamilton, William Douglas-Hamilton is buried there. He was initially placed in the crypt of The Collegiate Church but would have been reinterred to here at a later date once Duchess Anne had this Burial Site completed. His original stone tomb monument from the Collegiate Church is in St Bride’s Church, Bothwell! The site would have been part of the landscaping works Anne continued to develop long after his death. I also believe that he is buried alongside the remains of his ancestor Sir James Douglas “The Black Douglas” (Minus his heart!) and that Templar Treasures including The Holy Rood are beside them. The Holy Rood (Holy Rod) is a part of the Crucifixion Cross and it is said that whoever possesses it has great power! Is This the “Kilwinning Heredom Mound?” The freemason’s masonic lodge at Cadzow Street, Hamilton is called Hamilton Kilwinning No7!

Rosslyn Crypt Map Interpretation Of The Motte Hill & Netherton Cross Site.

The mound was once adourned by a statue: “A Fragment of The Leg Of Hercules” Which was a popular depiction of Hercules fighting the Hydra, a three headed serpent like creature, One of his 12 heroic labours. The Hercules theme could again have been witnessed inside the main entrance to Hamilton Palace consisting of two massive stone depictions of Hercules holding up the fine staircase. “The Pillars Of Hercules”. And again at the original gates to Bothwell Castle (Now Bothwell Castle Golf Club Entrance) Once the seat of the Black Douglases! This time Hercules stands on the left of the Douglas Coat Of Arms and on the right is the Golden Hindnext (Red Deer Or Hind with Golden Antlers). Again this was one of his twelve heroic labours he had to complete before being allowed to join his father Zeus at the top of Mount Olympus which Zeus ruled. The Mystical Mound!

Hercules entangled with the Hydra. The area circled red is what the statue on top of the mound would have looked like.

So, Is this a Motte Hill or is it in fact the Tumulus (Burial Mound) For the 3rd Duke Of Hamilton, William Douglas-Hamilton? Are the remains of his ancestor “The Black Douglas?” also buried there. Do they guard Templar Treasures including The Holy Rood? The Duke of Hamilton (Douglas-Hamilton Bloodline) are the “Hereditary Keepers Of The Palace of Holy Rood” Could this be the mason’s “Kilwinning Heredom Mound”?

Left To Right; Robert Springett, Charles Doherty, James Robertson”Robbie”, Robert Murphy “Teedy”, Alexander Murphy “Axe”, Stevie McGuire And Tony McLaren.

Teedy, who is pictured 5th from the left was responsible for introducing the game of “Boston Pool” (Eight ball) To Central Lanarkshire During The Late 1950’s. Many tournaments known as the “Boston Pool Shootouts” were held and the prize money sometimes ran into several thousands! It was a great underground scene! After gaining his American Citizenship Teedy bought the patent to manufacture the tables from a mafia connected man whilst in Connecticut (The New Jersey Tri-State). He was also involved with gaming and fruit machines.

In all over 40 tables were built and shipped over. A few were sold but at it’s peek, Teedy hired a total of 36 tables to the pubs and clubs of Central Lanarkshire. One or Two are still in the same pubs today but sadly the game of pool has died out in the pub/club scene as the floor space is much more valuable for tables and seating. There are however pool halls in and around the towns still dedicated to the game.

WW2 Air Raid Shelter, Hamilton, South lanarkshire, Scotland.

Hamilton Historian. Terence (Terry) Murphy. At the WW2 Air Raid Shelter located in the former Neilsland (Mid Stonehall) Estate, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Many local people would argue that this is in fact the former pump house that powered water connected to the fountain on the estate. I strongly disagree with this theory! There is no documented record for the structure. I have based my opinion on six separate facts, they are;

1): Photos of other WW2 brick built air raid shelters similar to this one in both size and appearance.

2): In the Neilsland House photo which includes the fountain c. 1893, you can clearly see that there is no visible evidence of the structure. The photo was taken some 20 years after the fountain was installed in the estate (early c. 1870’s when the improvements were being carried out). If you were standing at the fountain, facing the original stone stairs the air raid shelter is located approximately 20 yards to the left and 1 terrace up. So, you see this is not the pump house for the fountain or it would be visible in the photo!

3): Sir Simon Watson Bt is recorded as writing that; “There was a control room under the fountain”! This was in reference to his Uncle Douglas Watson who was fined by police for illegally storing petrol there during the Suez Crisis c.1956. This fact further proves that the structure was not a pump house for the fountain!

4): There is no detailed drawing evidence of the structure on the original Neilsland Plan Of The Drains Document c. 1905 by Alexander Cullen Architect. The drawing details the new cast iron drainage pipes installation of the house as well as the ground floor plan.

5): Neilsland House which included the Greenhouse, Hot Houses and Conservatory were all heated via “The Heating Chamber”. This is clearly detailed on the Neilsland Plan Of The Drains (above). There was also a “Coals” store located within the Kitchen Court and this adjoined the Stabling. Therefore, the structure which I believe is a WW2 Air Raid Shelter was clearly not a boiler room for heating the house etc. It was also clearly not a coal store! And it could not possibly be a garage pit for servicing cars as this was located behind the house and nowhere near the structure (air raid shelter).

6): The strongest fact confirming that the structure is a WW2 Air Raid Shelter is that I personally witnessed a local man tap a long steel rod down through the centre point of the fountain base whilst we attended a group guided tour several years back. The steel rod passed down through the fountain base with great ease proving that below the fountain there is a void chamber and this is where the pump house would have been located!

The air raid shelter which sits up on the terraces some 20 yards away would have been built for Lady Lucy (Hamilton) Watson and her Son Douglas (Hamilton) Watson. The structure is capable of holding 4-6 people in a seating position. There is an entrance doorway to the shelter and an escape hatch at the other end. The escape hatch would also have contained some type of breathing air intake device. Both the entrance door and escape hatch are gone. The walls are brick built with a concrete lintel above the door, concrete slabbed roof and a wooden floor.
